Edward Francis Clark, 78, of Marlborough and formerly of Ashland, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Marlborough Hospital. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Mary (Lavey) and John Joseph Clark. He was the husband of RoseMarie (Vatalaro) Clark of Marlborough.

A Veteran of the United States Navy during Vietnam, Edward enjoyed playing tennis, the beach, and time spent with family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jon E. Clark and his wife Helen of Northborough, Paul E. Clark of Hollis, NH; two brothers, Joseph Clark of Somerville, Jack Clark and his wife Pat of Ithaca, NY; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Jack and Sarah. He is predeceased by two siblings, Evie Whelan and Robert Clark.

Visitation will be held on Friday. April 8th from 4-8 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 9 am in St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
