Mary "Betty" McEttrick

Mary “Betty” McEttrick, 89, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday,
January 21, 2015. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late
Anna (Davis) and James Redican, and married to her beloved James G.
McEttrick who passed away in 1998.

Mary attended Notre Dame Academy and Regis College. She was a
former teacher who loved sewing, travel, entertaining, BC Football games, but most of all spending summers at Rexhame Beach with her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind 5 children, James McEttrick and his wife Barbara of
Braintree, Rick McEttrick and his wife Meg of Fairfield, CT, Paul
McEttrick and his wife Des of Fairfield, CT, Joanne Mahoney and her
husband Bob of Hopkinton, and Maureen Karpowicz and her husband Mark
of Braintree. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25th from 2-5p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place on Monday, January 26th at 11:30a.m. at St. Clare Parish in Braintree.
