Laine Elizabeth Christman

Laine Elizabeth Christman, 41, of Baltic, Connecticut and Formerly of Framingham, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 from an accident at her home. Born in Concord, MA she was the daughter of Sharon (Fritz) and Richard Batten of Boylston, MA. Laine was the wife of Marc Christman of Baltic, CT to whom she was with for 20 years .

Laine was involved with many Fife and Drum and Bagpipers and Drum Corps. She was also active with an internet Mother’s Discussion Board for 12 ? years along with many other Caring and Support groups.

Along with her husband and parents, she leaves her 2 children Haleigh and Connor Christman; a sister, Andrea Batten of Boylston and her 3 children; maternal grandfather, John Fritz of Hopkinton, MA, and paternal grandmother Georgiana Batten of Lincoln, MA. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 2pm in the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the family’s home, c/o Marc Christman, 230 High St., Baltic, CT 06330.
