Coral Janet Thombs

Holliston-

Coral Janet Thombs, 94 of Holliston, passed away Saturday, August 23,
2014 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the
late Maude Gallot and Edwin F. Whitten. She was the wife of the late
Vincent F. Thombs who passed away in 2000.

Coral worked for Fenwal in Ashland for several years. She was also
a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader as well as a Sunday School teacher.
She was also a member of the Mary Wells Club at the Congregational
Church, where she had been a past President.

She is survived by three children, Philip Thombs and his wife Patricia
of Holliston, Janet Littlefield and her husband Peter of Milford, and
Michael Thombs and his wife Madge of Portsmouth, RI. She also leaves
behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holliston Public Library, 752 Washington St. Holliston, MA 01746 Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
