Richard Carlyle Creswell

Richard Carlyle Creswell, 65, of Hopkinton, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Nellie (Walker) and E. Carlyle Creswell.

Raised in and long time resident of Hopkinton, he was a past member of the Congregational Church and had lived in Boston for several years. He was in the Coast Guard from June 1960-June 1964 and a member of the VFW. Richard was also active in the Hopkinton Senior Center. He loved animals and enjoyed traveling with his neighbors’ dog, Brandy.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Don Creswell of Hopkinton, Walter Creswell
of Ashland. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a
brother, Bruce Creswell who passed in 2004.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 26, 2007 at
10:00a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made in his memory to the Hopkinton Senior Center, 28
Mayhew St. Hopkinton, MA. 01748 or the Hopkinton Ambulance Fund, 73 Main
