Irene D. Janiak

Irene D. Janiak, 81, of Holliston, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Zaborowski) Serocki.

A longtime resident of Holliston, she is survived by her husband Zeke of Holliston, 3 daughters, Jean Belina of East Hampton, Karen Schildmeier of Collerville, TN., and Linda Fitzgibbons of Holliston, 1 brother, Edward Serocki of Holliston, 8 grandchildren, Bill, Kevin, Matt, Mark, Angela, Kelley, Patrick, Michael, and 1 great-grandchild, Ryan. She is predeceased by 3 brothers, William, Joseph, and Frank Serocki, and 2 sisters, Mae Szczechowicz and Anne Dunajski.

Visitation hours will take place on Monday, April 23, 2007 from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) Holliston. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
