Agnes Ruth Thayer

FRAMINGHAM — Agnes Ruth Thayer, 82, of Framingham, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at the MetroWest Medical Center of Natick after a long illness.

She was the wife of the late Adlebert Thayer.

Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Oliver F. Tatro Sr. and Abigail (Collier) Tatro.

She leaves a son, Ronald Bailey of Long Island, N.Y., three daughters, Shirley Cournoyer of Hopkinton, Patricia Thayer Fugere of Worcester, and Marcia Barksdale of Framingham; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Sherry and Adele.

Visiting hours are Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton (www.chesmorefuneralhome.com).

Burial will be private.
