Bill was a wonderful staple in the Celebrate Holliston parade! The image of him riding his trackor proudly through the streets of the town he loved brings a smile to my face.

Mrs Stickney i am so very sorry for your loss. Your husband was a great man and you both were very great friends to my grandparents (Lyman and Linda Barrett). My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this tough time.

Mrs. Stickney, I am very sorry for your loss. I'm not sure if you remember me but I was your paperboy many years ago. Bill used to visit my Dad Leon along with Rich Gervin. I always appreciated their friendship and checking up on him and he loved the visits. I grew up (well grew older anyway) at the Holliston Sportsman Club and Bill was always the comedian. He was part of the backbone of the club and seemed to have the solution for a great deal of the problems that arose. As I write this I am crying thinking about all of the great memories growing up in Holliston. I hope you have some comfort knowing that he is DEFINITELY in heaven with a great big smile watching over you. Take care. Love, Chris Marsh

It was such a pleasure to know Bill. When we were working with the Washington Street Players Bill was kind enough to access his magic barn for props and furniture for our sets. My dear Sylvia, When I heard of the sad news of Bill's passing, I started remembering all of the special dinners I shared at your home with both of you and how gracious you and Bill always were. We can't even GO there with the unduplicated "best in the world brownies" you often made! I know Bill was truly your "soul mate" and I am so sad for YOU! The three of us shared a lot of laughs throughout my years living in Holliston...he will be missed sooo much by the rest of the world too! Sending my love to you and "Thanks for the memories!" Donna
