Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Jay and Peter, Your mom was 1 in a million! I'm so sorry for your loss. Now she's back with your dad and all their old friends, catching up and reminiscing.

Jay and Pete, so sorry for your loss, but weren't you lucky to have her and for such a long time? I'll never forget her. When Jay and I were little and best buddies, Ruth was another mother to me. I'm so glad my mother and I were able to visit with her a couple of years ago. Love to you both.

Peter and Jay, I first met your Mom as a newly-wed to Ed Henley when Jay was 2 years old. We enjoyed visiting whenever we were in Holliston. My 2nd son, Ron, who lives in Mass. and I visited at her home at 35 Mechanic St when I was visiting him. She was the same "Aunt Ruth" as she was known to my children. I am so sorry I didn't write to her after my move to Idaho. She was a great friend and I know she is missed by you and her many friends. My sympathies to you and your family.

Irina at Timothy Daniel just told me about Ruth - We knew her the last few months as my mother Margaret's roommate - We were always impressed with the loving care she received from her family and friends - It was hard to believe she was 102! But even when someone has been around a long time, it doesn't make the loss any less - very sorry for your loss Peter and Jay

Jay and Peter, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a wonderful woman. The memories of life on Mechanis St. bring me laughs and tears, life was so much simpler then. She will live on in the hearts of many.

Ruth was an amazing woman. She was our neighbor on Mechanic Street for many years. Always so happy with an infectious laugh and warm smile. I have such warm memories of time spend in that beautiful house with Ruth, Amy and Peter. So sorry for your loss Peter and Jay. I hope she and dad are up there right now talking about old times with Punk.

The last time I saw Ruth, we were in her kitchen. I was grateful for that, the kitchen I had visited so many times since my childhood. I was with Nancy and at 101, Ruth was trying to feed us and asked the same question as always. "Laurie, when are you going to getmarried?" I confinded in Ruth that day. I hope she took away that though I am not married yet, I am truly blessedand live very happily with my guy and his children. Now she can see us all. Love her like another grandma. Always in my thoughts!
