Richard Carlo Ristaino, 86, of Holliston, died Sunday, May 4, 2008. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late Carlo and Carolina (Repucci) Ristaino. He was the husband of 45 years to Elli (Kuhl) Ristaino of Holliston.
A Holliston resident since 1969, he was in the Navy for 21 years. He
enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling and spending time with his
family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 1 son, Richard Ristaino and his wife
Elizabeth of Holliston, a daughter, Kristine Robertson and her husband
David of Colorado, 4 sisters, Emma Chupka of Rhode Island, Florence and
Margaret Ristaino of Franklin, and Marie Massaro of Virginia. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Caroline Ristaino, and Kayla and Natalie
Robertson. He leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 5 brothers, George, Charles, Henry, Patrick, Louis, and 4 sisters, Celia,
Amelia, Lillian and Josephine.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 8 from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore
Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:00a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central St., Holliston. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American CancerSociety, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
