Michael “Mickey” Towle, 82, of Medway, passed away on February 13, 2025 after a long courageous battle with many heart issues. Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Carey) and John Towle. He was the husband of 55 years to Linda (Lang) Towle of Medway.

Mike was a veteran of the United States Army.  He then went on to graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology and UMass Lowell. Mike worked hard throughout his life starting at Ingersoll Rand, then coming to Massachusetts for Dennison, Digital, and ending his career as Facilities Director at the MWRA. He volunteered for many years at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Tech High School helping students master their trades. Mike was a proud member of the Model A Ford Club of America and owned a 1929 Model AA Ford named Agnes which he loved driving around town and showing off at parades and events. He was a member of the First Congregational Church for more than 45 years and volunteered his time and talents to keep the church facility running smoothly on any given day. Mike’s favorite place to be was Limerick, Maine overlooking the lake surrounded by his family.

Mike is survived by his three children, Sarah Towle, and husband, Christopher Cerbo, of Pocasset, MA, Charlie “Chuck” Towle and his wife, Merrie Lynn, of Lake Luzerne, NY, and Emily Towle and his “two favorite granddaughters”, Ellie and Jordan of Medway. He leaves his brother, Norman Towle, and wife, Donna, of Dixfield, ME; as well as nieces and nephews; Andy and Camille, Amy, Duncan, Chip, and Joni. He also leaves his other favorite family; Dee and Bob Furbish and their daughters and families.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 11:00 am at the First Congregational Church of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
