Marilyn J. (Rea) Nardone, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Born in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late Carol (Wenz) Rea and Anthony William Rea Sr. of Wellesley, Massachusetts. 

Marilyn graduated with an associate degree in marketing. She worked in various positions in that market and eventually retired. She had many interests, including animal rights, reading, art and historical facts of movies.  

Marilyn is survived by her brother, Anthony William Rea II, and his wife Melinda of Uxbridge, Massachusetts and their two children, Michael and Ciara.  

A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn’s name may be made to an animal rights group of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, Massachusetts.
