Margaret “Carol” Murphy, 82 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, January 8, 2024. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Arnold) and Louis Golding. She was the first  wife of the late Thomas James Murphy.

Carol is survived by her children, Kim Gonsalves and her husband Charles, of Hopedale, Chris Hollosi of Onset, and Thomas Murphy, Jr. Her grandchildren, Katelyn Martin, Jake Gonsalves, Matt Gonsalves, and Mckenna Hollosi. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are being held privately and are under the care of Chesmore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
