Linda Louise (Darst) Flannery, 79 of Holliston, entered eternal rest on March 31, 2023, surrounded by her family. Linda is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, William T. Flannery, Sr., and her parents, Mary Lou and Charles Darst of Louisville, KY.

Linda was an energetic, kind, selfless soul, devoted mother, loving nana, and loyal friend to many. After years of working in the home, she worked at Friendly’s and then did bookkeeping for Boy Scouts of America, as well as working for various travel agencies and recently volunteered at Holliston Senior Center. She loved her cruises, international travel, gardening, and curling up with a good crime novel. She was the fun Nana, never missing any of her grandchildren’s life events no matter the flight schedule or how long the drive was.

Linda is survived by her three sons: William Jr & his wife, Julie (Chicago, IL); Michael (Louisville, KY); and Jeff & his wife, Sharon (North Grafton, MA). She was Nana to Michelle, Jake, Jess, and James Patrick. Linda leaves behind her brother, Charles (Todd) Darst, and his wife, Jackie (Louisville, KY).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday,  April 4th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. The burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Holliston Senior Center Gift Fund c/o Holliston Senior Center, 150 Goulding St, Holliston, MA 01746.
