Kathleen Montgomery, 77, of Ashland, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen (Denson) and Charles R. Montgomery.

Kathleen was a second grade teacher for 37 years at Bennett- Hemenway School in Natick. She also enjoyed line dancing, water painting and her exercise class. She loved her cat,, Graydy.

Kathleen is survived by her nieces and nephews, Nancy Polny of Whitinsville, Susie Montalbano of South Carolina, Stephen Rogers of Buzzards Bay, Jeff Rogers of New Hampshire, Jonn Rogers of South Carolina; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joe Polny, Jess Polny, Nicholas Montalbano, Andrew Montalbano, Analise Rogers, Brian Rogers, Kayla Sheldon, Ashley Williams and Kevin Rogers; and 1 great-grand niece, Azlee Rogers. She also leaves behind her cousins, Nancy Kramer and Diane Ellerbe. She is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Rogers.

Funeral arrangements are being held privately with family and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to either to a cat or cancer research charity.
