Dear Pat and family, Please know that John and all of you are in my thoughts during this most difficult of times. John was a dear friend, and a kind, gentle and wonderful person who I respected greatly. He will be missed greatly. When my wife passed a friend of mind told me something that helped me deal with my grief. May it help you a well: "When someone you love becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure". With greatest love and respect and my deepest sympathy, Peter Amati

I'm really happy I got to know him in all the years living across from my grandparents. He was such a nice man. I remember the family buying my girl scout cookies when I was younger 🙂 it still makes me laugh knowing how much that he would mow that lawn of his! I loved seeing him on his tractor and with the grandkids. We really will miss him. My condolences to the rest of the family.
