Dear Barbara, I happened upon this by chance and am so sorry to hear of your loss. You might or might not remember me but my Mum, Margaret & Dad, Royston, since deceased, found you and presented me with the love of my life. A wee male cairn, Andrew of loch lach. He passed in 2001 at age 13 & 1/2. No expense was ever spared. I've since had a lovely little girl cairn , Gillian, who passed away 3 years ago. Lots of health problems but well taken care of. I still have her nephew , Glenn, who is a hearty 12 year old despite bladder stones & the odd surgery. But Andrew has always left an ache in my heart. We lived together in New York City during a very trying time in my life. Again, my sincere condolences on your loss of John. A merry looking fellow, who I wish I'd met. He's up their looking after many cairn terriers. God Bless. Allison 781 710 3997

What a lovely tribute to a special man. I'm so happy to have enjoyed meeting and spending time with John when he would visit his family in Oregon. I will never forget what a fierce and fun jigsaw puzzler he was the year we all shared Thanksgiving together!! What a fun day that was! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all as well as some big hugs. I wish you peace and love as you start the next chapter in your life story. ?

Patti, Tina & I will certainly have you and your family in our thoughts & prayers. Although I never met your Dad, I just read his brief life story & I can tell he was special. What a great life and legacy. Hopefully , one day you can tell us more about his many interests. Obviously he had a gusto for life and took full advantage.
