Thinking of John today. He was well liked and an excellent student at Keefe Tech.

I taught John at Hopkins for 4th and 5th-grade. I still think of John fondly amongst the many students I\'ve taught over the years. John left an impression on me with his kindness, earnestness, and unique personality. John was both playful and wise beyond his years. He was one of those students who brightened any space he walked into. John had a talent for creating clay sculptures and often would come to class very serious about the ideas he had been cooking up the week before. He was a student who included everyone and was the first to help a classmate or a teacher. John was a true artist and hearing him talk about his work in his serious yet excited tone always made me smile. John will be missed. I wish he had stayed longer and continued to leave his mark on the world.

My name is Caitlin, and John was one of my good friends throughout elementary and middle school. We were in the same 5th grade, band, and remote classes. I am so sorry for your loss and would like to express my condolences. I have fond memories of doing the 5th grade talent show with him and just being one of his friends. He was a very kind person, and I will remember him in a good light.

On behalf of the Hopkins School community, many of us have very fond memories of John from his 4th and 5th grade years with us. He was a very sweet boy with a fun sense of humor. We will never forget him riding off with dad on his motorcycle on the last day of 5th grade. Our deepest sympathy for a life lost way too soon.

I do not know you or John, but I wanted to express my condolences for your loss. Almost 11 years ago we lost our oldest of 5 children at the age of 22 to suicide. Reading John's obituary reminds me so much of Dan. Chesmore will take amazing care of you at a horrible time. Love and Prayers ... Liz

John was an amazing online friend to have. He was very supportive, kind, thoughtful, and never failed to make me laugh. I loved every moment we spent playing games together, and talking to eachother. Fly high buddy, you'll be dearly missed.

John used to tell me about how he hated math, we laughed a lot. Fly high John, you were such a great friend to us.
