Our thoughts and prayers are with Janet and her family as always. We will never forget how Janet touched our lives and the lives of so may children, parents and teachers in Holliston. Janet was an inspiration to us all and we will never forget her passion for life, learning and Montessori. We will carry on that passion in our work for years to come.

Both of my sisters had the privilege of having Ms. Ferreri as a teacher and by extension I and my whole family had the privilege to know her. She was truly inspirational. She gave her all to the children she taught and the people she cared about. Some of my best memories are of volunteering in her classroom and seeing pictures from all the places she had traveled. My sisters and I are better people for having known her. May she rest in peace.

Janet embodied the peace, joy, and love to which we should all aspire. As a mother, wife, and teacher should facilitated emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth. I am a better person for having known Janet. Thank you Janet! Your newest journey will surely be blessed! I know you will have much to show us when we meet again.

Janet taught our three children and she was a gift to all of us. She taught more than the three R's. Janet's example and her teaching about peace is a demonstration of what school should be. Long after our children moved on, we continued with the Gandhi peace prayer. We will all miss her.
