Mansfield – Charles Richard Russell, 71, died March 28, 2005.

He was the husband of Barbara (Sieurin) Russell, they had been married for 48 years.

Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late James L. and Matilda (Albertson) Russell, Sr.

Currently living in Mansfield, he had been a resident of Holliston for 37 years. Mr. Russell had attended Boston University for four years, was a member of the John Abbot Masonic Lodge in Somerville and was retired from General Electric where he had worked for more than 30 years.

Beside his wife he is survived by his daughter; Jennifer Ellen Russell; son, David Russell and his wife Maria of Bellingham; brothers, James L. Russell Jr. of Olympia Washington and Francis Russell of Derry, NH; sister, Anne Anderson of Derry, NH; and six grandchildren, Caeli, Mark, Scott, Eric, Sean and Matthew.

The funeral service and burial at the family lot in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston.
