I met Al when I was transferred as a Major to the 726th MSB in Natick, MA. in the S-4 position. He always had sage advice for me. It was overwhelming at first to be one of only 3 Majors in the organization. Al always had time to give his point of view on an issue. He was a giant not only in size but wealth of knowledge. He was great at calming a situation just by his very presence. I will always remember these qualities about him. Al exemplified what a good leader needs to be. He will be sorely missed.

To the Family of Fred - we got to know Fred over the 3 year period our father, Leo Garrigan, was a resident at Blair House. Our mother, Fran, like Fred, was there every day caring for him and that is how we all got to know one another. His devotion to Janice was a continuation of their love story. We all loved Fred and now take solace that he and the love of his life, Janice are back together again. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Susan (Garrigan) and Mike Damiano and Kevin Garrigan.
